Carrollton Christian Academy
As a ministry of First United Methodist Church of Carrollton and yet focused on ministering to an interdenominational student/family community, CCA is a church-based school, Pre-K through 12th grade, that seeks to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ and cultivate a Christian intellectual world view in the hearts and minds of every student.  More...

Sidewalk Bible School
Sidewalk Bible School is a program that reaches out to Carrollton children.  On Saturday mornings, from 11AM to noon, Sunday school is taken to a neighborhood in South Carrollton, next to a nursing home. The purpose is to take Sunday School to the children who aren’t attending a church currently.  For more information, contact Carolyn Giffen.

Boy Scouts

Several Scout troops offer the scouting experience to the young men in our community. FUMCC sponsors both Boy Scout Troop 121 and Cub Scout Pack 121. Troop 121 was chartered by FUMCC over 50 years ago and is for boys age 11-18. Pack 121 has a half-dozen Cub Scout Dens starting with Tiger Cubs at age 6, to Webelos patrols at age10 and 11. Future Generations self-defense classes will begin September 6 and meet every Tuesday and Thursday through June 5, 2008.  These classes offer self defense for ages 10 and up in a Christian orientation and environment.  For more information, contact Carolyn Giffen.
