Methodist Mission Home For more than 100 years, Methodist Mission Home has provided a home for unwed mothers to birth their children and if they choose, adopt them out. More than five thousand children have been adopted through the home, which provides adoption services for birth mothers, birth fathers, and adoptive families. Methodist Mission Home is a leader in Texas in domestic, infant open adoption. They are a national leader in open adoption. They also provide maternity services where expectant young women preparing to place their children for adoption can live on site. Shaohannah's Hope, mobilizing the body of Christ to care for orphans. This is Stephen Curtis Chapman's organization, which seeks to reduce the financial barrier to adoption. They award financial grants to qualified families already in the process of adopting. The size of the grant awarded is determined by several factors, the most important being need.
