Raising our children “in the way they should go” is a commitment at the core of our church. From their earliest days, we seek to bring them into a loving relationship with Jesus. Whether their gifts are music, martial arts or reaching out to others, they will find a special place at FUMCC. Below you will find all the information you need to get started for your younger children, as well as your growing teenagers.

Sunday School classes for all children are offered at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. Children are to be picked up at 10:30 to attend the Fellowship Time in the Children's Ministry Center with their parents. Children in grades K-2 may attend classes at both hours, and different lessons are provided at the 2 sessions. Children 3rd grade and up will attend one Sunday school class and will attend Worship with their parents. For more info contact Cindy Johnston.

Special Needs Class at 9:30 AM has been faithfully led by Linda Akers. See Cindy Johnston about the opportunities for a special needs child.

Nursery Ministry ministers to the little ones from infants on, as well as to their parents providing loving and safe care for our children.

Elementary Children, grades K-2
Children in these grades experience an exciting time on Sunday mornings.  Classes meet at 9:30 and 11:00 each Sunday morning and the curriculum as well as the gifted teachers provide different games, activities and large group teaching times at each of the hours.  Along with music, the children also move into small group teaching times that are designed for their specific age/grade level.

Pre-teens, grades 5-6
These "tween-agers" have their own special classes where the boys meet separately from the girls for the hour.  In both a teaching and sharing setting, these young people explore the Bible and relate it to their own lives, learning what it means to walk with Jesus.

YOUTH
Our young people in Middle and High School are discipled under the pastoral leadership of the Youth Pastor and the Youth Team, which plans and assists in areas of student development, including Small Groups, Bible Studies, Mission emphasis, Youth in Ministry, and Leadership Retreats. Youth Service – Sunday 5:00 PM – The Sunday service called TRUTH is available to the entire church and community.  Students & adults lead the Praise & Worship.  Led by Jeff Dietz.
