Children

Our kids ministry is where kids meet Jesus and learn to follow Him through stories, songs, games, and lots of fun!

We want our kids to know the love of Jesus and have fun while learning to be more like Him!
Throughout the year, we have fun community celebrations like Breakfast with Santa and the Easter Egg Scramble. Every summer, we have Vacation Bible School and kids camp. And we'll throw in fun activities throughout the year, too!

Infants - Age 4 | Grades K-4 | Grades 5-6

Vacation Bible School

Monday-Thursday, July 25-28 | 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

At Vacation Bible School, every night is filled with songs, games, snacks, crafts, bible stories, and a whole lot of fun for kids ages 4-11 (entering 6th grade). Parents and youth (entering 7th grade - entering 12th grade) can volunteer to be a part of the fun!

VBS is free - just show up and we'll get you checked in! Your child's safety is our first priority! Kids travel to different stations in groups with multiple leaders so they're never alone, and all of our volunteers are trained and background checked.

With Jerusalem Marketplace VBS, we'll step back in time and walk where Jesus walked! We'll learn to love others just like Jesus loves us.

We continue to monitor local and state recommendations regarding COVID-19. Following the lead of local school districts, face masks are welcome but not required.

First Kids Nursery

We minister to the little ones from infants through age 4, as well as to their parents, providing loving and safe care for our children. Childcare for our littlest ones includes teaching and music as we meet their spiritual and physical needs with Bible stories, fresh diapers, and goldfish.

Sundays

On Sundays, we offer two different lessons, one at 9 a.m. and one at 10:30 a.m. You can check in your child at 9 a.m. before going to class and pick them up after the 10:30 a.m. service.

Wednesdays

On Wednesdays, we offer care from 6:45-8:15 p.m. with songs, Bible stories, and time to play!

First Kids

Sundays

We have two different experiences for kids to get to know God and His word on Sunday mornings! At 9 a.m. you can sign your kids in at the station in the foyer before going to a Sunday class. First Kids will experience a lesson designed just for their age with songs and activities to help them connect the dots. And they can stay for our 10:30 a.m. worship service just for kids called Blast!  It's a fun, interactive time with games, a new lesson, skits, and songs designed to help them experience God's love and learn to follow Jesus.

Wednesdays

First Kids Clubhouse is the place to be from 7-8:15 on Wednesday nights! We have kids choir with fun songs, plus games and a Bible lesson. Then we break up into small groups for discussion and prayer time.

END Zone

Sundays

These "tween-agers" have their own special class at 9 a.m. to explore the Bible and relate it to their own lives. They learn what it means to walk with Jesus and take ownership of their faith. Through both teaching and discussion, the goal is “Equipping New Disciples.”

Wednesdays

END Zone starts every Wednesday with some game time in the gym to burn energy and hang out with friends at 7 p.m., before coming back to the END Zone room for inspiring teachings. The adult leaders offer great lessons tied to video clips and pop culture references to address themes common to this age range. END Zoners love to bring their friends on Wednesday because it's so much fun!

END Zone Retreat

Every fall, we take a retreat just for our END Zoners. It's a whole weekend filled with fun away from the city on a working ranch, with animals, hayrides, cookouts, lots of games and activities, and an impactful time of growing closer to each other and making their faith their own.

Confirmation

Our sixth grade students go through twelve weeks of classes, plus a special retreat to study the foundational beliefs of Christianity. At the end of the spring semester, if they have chosen to make a public profession of faith, they can be confirmed and join the church as full-fledged members before moving up into the youth group.
