Youth

As a youth group, we are committed to seeking and following God’s rhythm in this world. We recognize that God asks us to step away from our natural rhythms and to follow Him and His plans. The adult volunteers are committed to modeling this way of life and teaching the youth how to surrender themselves as well. There is a rich history of God building passionate and loving disciples in this youth ministry, and we are always excited to see what He is going to do with and through us next!

Sunday Mornings

The youth hang out and eat breakfast together from 9-9:15 a.m. At 9:15 a.m. we have a lesson in practical applications of our faith. Then we split into discussion groups to talk about how to apply these lessons to our lives.

Wednesday Nights

Rhythm Night is the main event for the youth. We have vibrant worship, interactive games, a Scripture-based message followed by Small Groups from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The real work of spiritual growth takes place in small groups. The Youth get together with their peers and invested adult leaders to grow in relationship with each other and with Christ. Whatever they do, they are growing, praying, and doing life together in Christian community.

ANNUAL EVENTS

Mid-Winter Retreat is the second weekend in January, from Friday night to Sunday morning. It is a chance for the youth to intentionally focus on their relationship with God, grow deeper with their peers in small groups, and have a lot of fun!

LIFT Weekend is a weekend focused on local missions and outreach. It's an opportunity for youth to lift up their community, form new relationships, and lift up the gospel.

Summer Camp  is the highlight of the summer for our youth. All youth entering seventh grade through graduated seniors participate together in crazy games, extended worship sessions, intense teaching times, and small groups. They also do serious service projects as well.
