Reasons for Faith

“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect” 1 Peter 3:15

Are you prepared to give reason for your faith?

This video-and-discussion-based class will help equip you with firm evidence to lean on when your beliefs come under question.

At the end of it, you’ll come away feeling empowered, encouraged, and more resilient in your faith.

Why We Need This Course

Statistics show that 70% of High School-age Christians who enter college, will abandon their faith before graduating.

College can be an incredibly hostile environment for a believer, and many colleges will throw all sorts of wild claims about faith, redefining the very word as “belief without evidence.” This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship parts one and two are fantastic for tackling mental health issues, especially when it comes to educating and equipping Christians with education about mental health, and how to respond in a healthy way to critics on this topic.

A lot of non-Christians and ex-Christians will claim Christianity is a religion of fear and hellfire and brimstone, or illogical ways of thinking (“You must believe the Bible because the Bible says so”). We know this isn’t true, and we need to equip our church to be able to adequately explain this to our non-believing neighbors so that we don’t perpetuate these ideas.
