The 3rd group to head to Cambodia in the last month left Dallas/Fort Worth early Thursday morning. Their travel went relatively smoothly. Unfortunatley two of the teams bags, one with ministry items, didn’t make the trip. The airline has promised to deliver them some time today.
The team got a little rest in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, before waking early to head to the dedication of a new church in Svay Cheat. The team shared a Bible story through drama. Nickie and Rachel were able to share briefly with 3 girls who had many questions. They have asked us to pray that they would have the right words to say when the team returns to Svay Cheat later next week. From there the team continued on to Battambang to spend then night.
As we head into the evening of November 5th, the team will rise on the 6th and make their way to the church at O-Khmom. Please pray for the team as they travel via bus over very muddy terrain.
The team will be sleeping in the church on mats and under mosquito nets for the next two nights. They will be spending more time with the people there, performing skits, sharing personal testimonies, leading Bible study, and enjoying fellowship with one another. Please pray for our team as they continue in ministry in O-Khmom. Some of the team members are experiencing pain on the long bumpy roads. Pray that their pain would be relieved and they would arrive ready to continue in the work of discipling the many new believers they will encounter.
Stay tuned for more updates!
