Today was the second day of the baseball camp. On Monday, it started off with a very light drizzle which only lasted during our morning team leader meeting and registration time. The rest of the day was a mix between clouds and sun. It ended up being a beautiful day in Aurich! On Tuesday there was a day full of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s. There are 12 teams this year and about 10-11 people on each team, counting the American and German leaders. It seems like each team has a mixture of people who have been to the camp before and people who it is their first time. Several people who are at the camp are either Christians or familiar with Christianity. But there are some who aren’t. I’m aware of one Muslim attending this year. I believe this is the first year we have had a Muslim attend. From talking with the other leaders, it seems like each of them has a good team. We had our first youth service today after the camp. The remaining two will be on Thursday and Friday. Michael Bass shared some of his testimony today. Please be in prayer for the camp that God will continue to bless us with good weather, for the speakers at the worship services, for participation by the teams in the Bible studies, for us to show God’s love through our actions, and for us to have the right words to say to others.
