Trafficking Response from Debbie Syptak

I hope you’ll read Debbie Syptak’s response to the human trafficking documentary that we showed a couple of weeks ago, Call + Response. I have added a link to the ministry she references. Please send me any other responses that you want to be shared at abbeyrenee[at]gmail[dot]com.

“My Monday was one of those days where I was discouraged because I felt like I was moving through molasses, not accomplishing things I hoped to get done. However. I did open a letter from James Robinson’s Life Outreach.  They have a ministry to deliver girls caught in sex trafficking in Asia. They are also building a home there.  So I responded with a gift.

Later that night when Mark was telling me what he had done that day, I piped up and said “Oh yeah, I rescued a child from slavery today.”

So even though my day had not seemed very successful I think there was at least one thing that happened that had more significance than anything else I could have done.

Debbie”
