Hi I’m Lindy and I have some opportunities for you! We have worked with a great local organization in recent years, Children’s Hunger Fund, and we have two great ways to help this month. Their mission is “to deliver hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry.” We help provide food donations and local churches deliver the donations to people in their neighborhoods, locally and abroad, creating relationships in the recipients’ neighborhoods with the church.
Here’s how you can help:
THIS SATURDAY, November 6, we have reserved 30 spots to help in their warehouse from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Registrations have been a little slow, so please let us know if you can help HERE as soon as possible. All ages are welcome – kids under 16 need to have an adult with them.
Thanksgiving weekend, we will have Project Food Pak boxes available for you to fill and bring back to church by Christmas Eve. These boxes are smaller than the ones we filled before, as each family member will receive a box, rather than one per family. Cost to fill one is $17-20. Our goal is 200 boxes to help set them up well as they go into 2022. Look for boxes in the foyer Thanksgiving weekend!
