The Friendship Partners ministry offers you an opportunity to connect with someone across the globe, right in your own backyard. A new semester is just now beginning for UTD and there are international students who would love to develop a relationship with you and have an American friend. By simply being a friend to an international student, you bring encouragement and support just by including them in some of your family activities, taking them shopping, or sharing a meal. Your commitment of 1-2 hours a month in the life of a student can make a big impact in their lives as well as yours.
