Emotionally Healthy Discipleship

Starting Sunday, September 11 & Wednesday, September 14

This two-part course helps us foster a healthy relationship with ourselves, others and God.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Part 1) starts Sunday September 11 from 5–7 p.m.
Emotionally Healthy Relationships (Part 2) starts Wednesday, September 14 from 7–8:15 p.m.

Raising Kingdom Kids (Class)

Starts Sunday, September 25 at 9am

The class is a video-based course featuring Tony Evans that raises the discussion above the everyday matters of discipline to what it takes to bring up children who understand their place in God’s kingdom and value things with eternal value. It meets for 6-7 weeks beginning Sunday, September 25 (6 week curriculum with an extra week scheduled in case a discussion needs to stretch over 2 weeks at some point). We will meet at the 9:00 Sunday school hour.

English Conversation Hour

Wednesdays at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall

If you were in a foreign land and didn’t speak the language well, who would you call when life gets tough? English Conversation Hour presents a unique opportunity to live out the Great Commission in a highly relational way. People from all over the globe walk in our doors to practice their English and learn about American culture, and they are willing to step into our church to learn. Getting involved is easy—all you need is a strong command of the English language, American culture and a willingness to be a friend. 

Note, this is not an ESL course.

• Project Food Pak is back! Project Food Pak is an initiative by Children’s Hunger Fund to provide a way to build relationships and share the love of Jesus with food insecure families. Grab a box from our Foyer and return it full of food and prayers. Details are inside each box. Boxes are due Sunday, September 18.
• Good News Club is in need of volunteers! Contact Carol McCann at 972-989-3299 to sign up! 
• Our Sunday Morning Coffee Crew needs some help! Talk to Mark Kasmerski (972-821-3961) to volunteer to make our church feel warm and welcoming on Sundays.
