Here’s a quick look at what’s going on at First Methodist Carrollton!

Jurassic Park is Back!

August 24 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Of course, it’s not Jurassic Park (although you might hear that classic John Williams theme blasted out across the yard). We’re celebrating the return of Wednesday Nights with our Dinos, Dogs & Snow event. Invite your friends to come and hang out with us as we get together and enjoy each others company while (at least some of us) chase some dinos around!

Raising Christian Children in a Post-Pandemic World

August 31 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

This event will equip you with the tools and community you need to see the children in your care thrive. If you have children in your life (of any age) that you care about, you’re going to want to join us for this!

We’re bringing in Dr. Crystal Brashear, assistant professor at Colorado Christian University and licensed professional counselor, to speak to us. Dinner will start around 6:30 p.m. and a lecture and Q&A will follow.

We’ll take care of childcare and food, we just need you to let us know who’s coming!

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship

Starting Sunday, September 11 & Wednesday, September 15

This two-part course helps us foster a healthy relationship with ourselves, others and God.

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality starts Wednesday, September 15 from 7–8:15 p.m.
Emotionally Healthy Relationships starts Sunday September 11 from 5–7 p.m.
