Church News & Announcements

Here’s a quick look at what’s going on at First Methodist Carrollton!

Dinos, Dogs and Sun, Oh please!

Tomorrow Night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

We’re celebrating the return of Wednesday Nights with our Dinos, Dogs & Snow event. Invite your friends to come and hang out with us as we get together
and enjoy each others company while (at least some of us) chase some dinos around!

To all you prayer warriors reading this—we just need it not to rain from about 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. God made the sun stand still for Joshua and the Israelites…surely He can hold off the rain for a few hours, right?

Raising Christian Children in a Post-Pandemic World

August 31 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

This event will equip you with the tools and community you need to see the children in your care thrive. If you have children in your life (of any age) that you care about, you’re going to want to join us for this!

We’re bringing in Dr. Crystal Brashear, assistant professor at Colorado Christian University and licensed professional counselor, to speak to us. Dinner will start around 6:30 p.m. and a lecture and Q&A will follow.

We’ll take care of childcare and food, we just need you to let us know who’s coming!
