- Sunday Classes: 9 a.m.

As a youth group, we are committed to seeking and following God’s rhythm in this world. We recognize that God asks us to step away from our natural rhythms and to follow Him and His plans. In Matthew 16:24 Jesus says, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” The youth pastor and the adult volunteers are committed to modeling this way of life and teaching the youth how to surrender themselves as well. There is a rich history of God building passionate and loving disciples in this youth ministry and we are always excited to see what He is going to do with and through us next! Come join us as we seek to deny ourselves and search for God’s rhythm.
The youth meet from 9-9:15 a.m. in the Youth Lounge to hang out, play together, and eat breakfast. At 9:15 a.m. we will go into the Youth Worship Space for a lesson in practical applications of our faith such as prayer, forgiveness, loving our enemies, forming Christ-centered relationships, sharing our faith through word and deed, etc. The youth will then split into small discussion groups led by adult volunteers to talk about how to apply these lessons to their lives.
Once a month we have Family Worship Night where families and students will have dinner together, play games, worship, and sit under some amazing teaching from an incredible guest speaker. We'll focus on things that are important to both students and parents.
Every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. all middle and high school students are invited upstairs to the youth room for RHYTHM NIGHT. This is our main youth group worship time every week. We will gather together for teaching, worship, games and small groups every Wednesday night. This is a great time for your youth to invite friends and neighbors to be a part of our youth community. Our youth band will lead worship, the youth pastor, Nick Robinson, will be teaching, and we will always have fun and worship Jesus! Come one! Come all! It's RHYTHM NIGHT!
We serve at Project Transformation on two Mondays each month. This is our new service project we started this year. We will head out to Chapel Hill UMC in Farmers Branch where we will help facilitate a free after school program for low-income elementary aged children. We will play games with them, help with homework, and sit and read with them.
Midwinter Retreat is the second weekend in January, from Friday night to Sunday morning. Midwinter is a chance for the youth to intentionally focus on their relationship with God, grow deeper with their peers in small groups, and have a lot of fun!
LIFT Weekend is a weekend focused on local missions and outreach in early June. It's an opportunity for youth to lift up their community, form new relationships, and lift up the gospel.
Summer Camp is the highlight of the summer for our youth. All youth entering seventh grade through graduated seniors participate together in crazy games and challenges, extended worship sessions, intense teaching times, and small groups.
