Why is there so much suffering?

The world is broken, but God suffers with us. Christ, the eternal Son of God, has lived on earth as a human being and has endured hunger, thirst, temptation, shame, persecution, nakedness, bereavement, betrayal, mockery, injustice, and death – and He promises to return and make all things new.
