Heart for Cambodia had a great year in 2016 (read more here) and is starting 2017 off with celebration. Chiv and Emara In traveled to Cambodia with Scott Grigsby and Jim Casten. They started out in O-Khmom with a Christmas celebration attended by over 300 people from several villages.
After the celebration the team got to work. Electricity is coming to the villages and people are wiring their houses and buildings with little knowledge of how to do it. Fires and electrocutions have taken place. Jim and Scott wired the church and the house at O-Khmom, giving them a chance to light the church and demonstrate how it’s done.
The team has visited the churches on their motorcycles, handing out Bibles, playing with children and praying with and for the leaders. It’s been over 5 years since I went to Cambodia, and what I’m seeing in pictures is joy like we didn’t see before. God is good!
