Chiv and Emara In are still in Cambodia, very busy with ministry to all the churches. They have been to Prey Tom, Kun Domrey, and O-Khmom training leaders. They worked with the leaders in Svai Cheat, talking about spiritual things and offering encouragement while completing the building of a rest room at the church.
In a village called Phnom Bak Chap, Chiv visited with and presented the gospel to 2 men formerly with the Khmer Rouge. The men showed interest but did not make a commitment. Pray for these 2 men who need the redemption only Christ can offer.
Tomorrow, the leaders from the 4 churches will come to Battambang and spend a day and a half with Chiv and Emara at the hotel, training for leadership of their congregations.
The Ins will go to Kran Lanh (the village where Sarun Mak’s family lives) on Sunday to deliver chairs and books. They will spend time with the young women (twin sisters) who will teach and work with the children there. This group will meet in the home of the sisters’ parents. The parents are not yet believers, but have offered their home. Please pray for this very new and very young congregation in a Buddhist area that has been resistant to the gospel.
Chiv drove a motorcycle with Emara on the back when they went to Prey Tom. They both survived the trip! Emara is feeling well.
Please continue to pray for them as they complete their time in Cambodia and travel home!
