On Our Campus

Our campus is almost always buzzing with activity. In addition to First Methodist Preschool and a public charter school, we host a lot of great organizations on our campus.

Grace Toastmasters

Grace Toastmasters is a ministry built on the renowned Toastmasters International, a self-paced, self-improvement educational training to develop effective communication skills and confident public speaking. Toastmasters provides preparation and confidence to speak and ultimately allows participants to share their personal faith effectively.

Meetings are currently happening in person (Church Library upstairs) and on Zoom from 6:45 - 7:45 a.m. on 1st and 3rd Thursday mornings.  Learn more here or contact Rebecca Carpenter

Cub Scout Pack 121

Open to boys in grades K-5. Normal meetings occur every other Sunday at 4 p.m. in Fellowship Hall, plus lots of fun activities throughout the year. Learn more  at cubpack121.org.

Crosswinds Jazz Band

Crosswinds Jazz Band rehearses in the Choir Room on Monday nights.

Carrollton Early Childhood PTA

The Carrollton Early Childhood PTA is an organization dedicated to providing activities, support, friendships, and education for parents of children aged newborn through preschool. We are a part of the same network of PTAs that you find in public schools, but since our children are babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, our focus is geared more toward this age range and we have lots of FUN! Possibly the biggest reason for becoming involved is to meet, socialize and network with other parents in the Carrollton area. Learn more at https://cecpta.org/

Millennial Choirs and Orchestras

Founded in 2007, Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras (MCO®) consists of over 4,000 participants in California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Idaho, and Kansas City. Each MCO locale houses four non-auditioned choirs for youth, as well as an auditioned adult choir and symphony orchestra, both comprised of accomplished volunteer singers and instrumentalists. MCO was founded for the purpose of teaching and encouraging excellence in quality sacred and classical music. Its primary purpose is to fulfill the need for more refined music education and performance in our communities, with a focus on God and country. The Dallas ensembles rehearse on Thursdays. Campus Security

The security of your children is very important to us. To ensure a safe environment for your children, you will receive and return a numbered security tag when signing in and picking up your children in nursery through third grade. This security tag must be returned in order to pick up your child.

MinistrySafe is a complete safety system designed to reduce the risk of child sexual abuse in organizations. First Methodist Carrollton trains all volunteers through MinistrySafe. Download a confidential MinistrySafe Volunteer Application here.
